„Ukrenergo“ imposed restrictions on electricity consumption for industry across the country for the second consecutive day.
„Today, power restriction schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in all regions of Ukraine“, the company reported on its Telegram channel.
The previous day, similar restrictions for industrial consumers were in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
„Ukrenergo“ also reported that as of the morning of October 21, there were large-scale power outages in Chernihiv region. „A significant part of the region, including the regional center, remained without power“, they noted. “Critical infrastructure has been switched to generators.“
Earlier, Chernigovvodokanal reported that Chernigov was without power, there was no water supply, and the company's facilities were powered by alternative energy sources. On Monday evening, the northern Chernigov region was left without power due to damage to energy facilities, the local regional energy company reported. On Tuesday evening, Ukrainian news outlet TSN reported explosions in the region.
