The European Commission is currently blocking 70 billion euros in European funding for Hungary. This was announced by European Commission spokesman Balazs Ujvari at a briefing in Brussels.
“We currently have around 70 billion euros in funding blocked for Hungary“, he noted. Ujvari explained that part of this money is blocked under cohesion policy (the EU fund for the development of disadvantaged regions) and part of the COVID-19 recovery fund.
