China will purchase $17 billion worth of American agricultural products annually for three years, according to a statement posted on the White House website.
According to the document, “in addition to its soybean purchase commitments, China will purchase at least $17 billion worth of American agricultural products annually in 2026, 2027 and 2028.“ The White House also noted that China has “restored market access for U.S. beef“ and has “resumed imports of U.S. poultry“.
