The US and UK have banned metal exchanges from accepting new aluminium, copper and nickel , produced by Russia, and banned the import of these metals to the USA and the UK, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The ban is intended to affect revenues from Russian metal exports as punishment for Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Russia is a large producer of aluminum, copper and nickel, the agency recalls.
