„During my tour of the Black Sea and the country, I saw both the good and the bad example in the development of camping tourism. This is a dynamically developing type of tourism – not only in Bulgaria, but also in the world. And because of the technologies that are increasingly entering, and because of the tourist service, which is at a high level. So, this is something leading and a priority for us," said Minister Evtim Miloshev, during a meeting with the Association of Campsites in Bulgaria. The prospects for the development of the sector were discussed there.
„Our goal is to provide comfort and security for people who choose this way of vacation, because nature is for everyone, not only for privileged tourists,” said Eng. Anton Kyosev, chairman of the Management Board of AKB.
During the meeting, activities were discussed to facilitate and encourage the development of this segment of the sector, as camping is one of the dynamically developing branches in tourism and on a global scale. Camping has gained even more popularity as a vacation and lifestyle after the crisis and lifestyle change caused by COVID-19.
It is necessary to take actions so that Bulgaria can be included in the ACSI world catalog – customer satisfaction system.
