A financial package in the amount of EUR 1.2 billion is granted by the European Commission (EC) to the countries of the Western Balkans. The money is for infrastructure development and entrepreneurship development. The money will be used to finance projects in the field of the water supply sector, wastewater treatment, railways. transport and promotion of green transformation in small and medium enterprises
„Investments, together with unobstructed forms and access to our common defense, will prepare the economy of our countries to join the Union," said the EC leader la fon dep Laien.
&The country mobilizes up to EUR 30 billion in investments, including EUR 9 billion in EC grants for the period 2021-2027.
