Incomes of Russia's richest billionaires revealed

12 of them received $11.3 billion in dividends this winter

At the end of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, at least 12 of the richest Russian billionaires received $11.3 billion, Bloomberg reports, citing its own calculations.

According to the agency's assessment, the former head of the Lukoil oil company Vagit Alekperov received the largest income in the form of dividends for the specified period of time, who earned a total of 2.1 billion dollars. The top 3 of the largest recipients of dividends among Russian businessmen include the main beneficiary of Severstal Alexey Mordashov with 1.7 billion dollars and the chairman of the board of directors of NLMK Vladimir Lisin - 1.4 billion dollars.

In the top 12 of the ranking were the shareholder of Sibur and chairman of the board of directors of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson(1.2 billion), the founder of USM Alisher Usmanov (990 million dollars), the chairman of the board of directors of the Kontinental Hockey League Gennady Timchenko (900 million dividends from NOVATEK and Sibur), the former vice president of Lukoil Leonid Fedun (877 million ).

The list also includes the family of the co-owner of "Fosagro" Andrey Guriev (614 million), the family of State Duma deputy Andrey Skoch (603 million), the head of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin (591 million), the chairman of Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine Viktor Rashnikov (285 million) and the wife of the rector of the St. Petersburg Mining University Tatiana Litvinenko (261 million).

RIA Novosti previously reported a sharp increase in the incomes of the richest Russian entrepreneurs. According to the agency's calculations, the total wealth of billionaires from the Russian Federation, included in the top 500 of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI), increased in January-June by a total of 28.749 billion dollars and reached the level of 354.99 billion. The capitalization of the assets of the former beneficiary of Eurochem and SUEK companies Andrei Melnichenko /pictured/ (plus 5.76 billion, up to 24.6 billion dollars) grew the most.
