British travel blogger Kieran Brown visited Afghanistan and said that the country loves tourists. He shared his impressions with the Daily Star.
The traveler spends 8 days in Afghanistan and constantly encounters Taliban at checkpoints. According to him, he had no problems with them.
"I think because they want to develop tourism, they treat tourists with great respect - both men and women.". These were the words Brown used to describe his observations. He added that the Taliban treat foreign guests much better than locals.
Although the Brit enjoyed the trip, he noted that he would not be returning to Afghanistan. He was impressed by the kindness of the military, but he did not feel safe.
Another traveler from Russia told about the life of Afghans in the Khrushchev buildings built by Soviet specialists. “When you walk in here, there is a strange sense of detachment from reality,”, he noted.
