KNSB and employers propose to introduce a mechanism to support companies with reduced orders and sales in order to preserve employment and jobs of people. This was said by the president of the National Security Council Plamen Dimitrov in the "Wake up" studio.
"Protests are being prepared in various sectors. People in the capital's public transport are waiting for a second wage increase. In health care, they have been trying to negotiate a KTD for half a year. There is uncertainty, instability and ambiguity in the energy sector in the coal sector," added Dimitrov.
In his words, the Climate and Energy Plan should be finalized in the summer. "Among the spheres that need the most support are the engineering sector, the chemical industry, the production of medicines. These 250 million BGN, voted before the elections, are still gone. Businesses survive on bank loans. Mines need to propose ways and measures for reclamation", he believes.
The trade unionist is pessimistic that a regular cabinet will be formed. His opinion is that new early elections are coming. "It is logical to support employment. There is no audibility, for 7-8 months we want to talk, but there is no desire. Jobs are the goal, not helping businesses. Companies from the "Unemployment" fund to help hire people on a part-time basis, but not to release people", urged Dimitrov.
The government proposes that the poverty line for 2025 be BGN 638. KNSB approves this proposal, but believes that the methodology should be changed. "The consumer price index that is taken should be oriented towards the small consumer basket," he added.
