Hungarian airline Wizz Air has suspended its flights to Israel and Jordan until August 4 due to the worsening situation in the Middle East. This was announced by the airline on its page in the social network X (before Twitter).
„Due to the worsening situation in the region, Wizz Air will temporarily suspend flights to Israel and Jordan until and including August 4,” the announcement said, noting that the airline's passengers will be able to receive compensation when their tickets are returned.
In addition to Wizz Air, air carriers such as KLM, ITA Airways and Air India previously announced the temporary suspension of flights to Israel.
Hamas announced on July 31 that Haniya was killed in an Israeli strike on his residence in Tehran, where he was participating in the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
