London is home to more millionaires than anywhere else in Europe, according to new research by Henley & Partners in preparing a report on the richest cities in the world, BNR reported.
258,000 people who can boast six zeros in their accounts live in London. In addition to them, 36 billionaires also live in the city, which also gives it first place in Europe.
The top five is completed by Frankfurt in Germany with just over 100,000 millionaires and 16 billionaires, Zurich in Switzerland, the French capital Paris and another Swiss city – Geneva. Globally, London is in fourth place.
First place is New York with 340,000 millionaires. However, when it comes to billionaires, New York City is edged out by San Francisco and the Bay Area with a staggering 63 billionaires living in the area also known as Silicon Valley.
