ERM West announced that an important cable for the power supply of the Vratsa villages of Pavolche and Chelopek has been put into operation. The project was implemented after an analysis of the technical data and feedback received from customers.
The company has invested nearly 150 thousand leva in it. The new cable will guarantee a more reliable power supply for nearly 1,000 residents of the Vratsa villages and will minimize interruptions in bad weather.
The announcement was made during a meeting on June 13, organized by the regional governor of Vratsa Nikolay Nikolov with leaders of the Electrohold group (of which ERM West is also a part) and representatives of local authorities of the settlements in the region. The regional governor stressed the importance of such meetings, because only with dialogue on the spot and with the joint efforts of the energy companies and the local authorities is it possible to find long-term strategic solutions for the benefit of citizens and businesses in the Vratsa region.
“It is important to identify the right strategy and seek solutions so that the electricity distribution network develops adequately to the requirements of the future. Our goal is secure electricity supply, digital transformation and sustainable development of all services provided by our companies in partnership with the local authorities in the interest of consumers“, said Radoslav Tsvetkov, Executive Director of ERM Zapad.
The management of Electrohold presented the priorities for improving customer service and the development of the electricity distribution network in the region. The investments secured for the digitalization and modernization of energy facilities this year amount to over 6.1 million BGN. Of these, 1.69 million BGN are for connecting new customers and over 1 million BGN. for reconstruction and modernization of the network. 994 thousand BGN have been provided for the removal of electricity meters. Almost 2.4 million BGN is the investment in electricity meters with remote consumption reading for settlements in the municipalities of Borovan, Byala Slatina, Kozloduy, Mizia, Oryahovo and Hayredin.
Last year, 4.39 million BGN were invested in the electricity distribution network of Vratsa district. Among the implemented projects are the reconstruction of LV overhead networks and removal of electricity meters in the city of Vratsa, the city of Byala Slatina, the city of Mizia and the villages of Nefela, Lilyache, Botunya, Varbeshnitsa, Tipchenitsa, Kalen, Kunino, Nivyanin, Harlets, Leskovets, Ostrov, Lipnitsa, Mihailovo. 1.7 million BGN were invested for the construction of facilities for connecting new customers. lv.
Electrohold is holding a series of meetings with representatives of local authorities in Western Bulgaria. The events are part of the company's long-term policy of open, active and dialogical communication with the mayors of municipalities and regional governors of the territory it serves.
