Mayor Vasil Terziev and the Chairman of the City Parliament Tsvetomir Petrov will award the Honorary Citizens and those awarded with the "Honorary Badge of the Sofia Municipality", reports BNT.
Today, traditionally, most galleries and museums will have free admission. The children's educational center "Muzeiko" will also be free of charge.
From 7:00 p.m. in front of the temple-monument "St. Alexander Nevsky" will be held a concert "Sofia sounds with faith, hope and love" again with free admission.
At the same time, Mayor Vasil Terziev will open the 15th edition of the international pop and rock music festival at the National Palace of Culture.
This year, the title "Honorary Citizen of Sofia" will be awarded to: Stefan Mavrodiev, Viktor Lilov – the best Bulgarian Olympian in science for 2024, Tanya Bogomilova - Olympic swimming champion from the 1988 Seoul Games, Albert Popov, arch. Stanislav Konstantinov, poet Naiden Valchev, actor Russi Chanev, Ivan Nichev - director, screenwriter, Prof. Tsolo Vutov.
With "Honorary Badge of the Sofia Municipality" The Society of Cardiologists in Bulgaria, Maria Landova, Maria Atanasova, young athletes Nikola Tsolov, Ivan Ivanov and Alexander Vassilev will be honored.
