A meeting was held between the parliamentary groups of GERB-SDF, led by Boyko Borisov, and of DPS-New Beginning, led by Delyan Peevski. This was announced on their Facebook pages by both parties.
DPS-New Beginning will continue to support the mandate holder and the partners in the government for a full mandate for the government. The two parliamentary groups united around the decision not to change the current form of support, according to a statement published on the social network.
DPS-New Beginning refuses to participate in the executive branch, as well as in the leadership of the parliamentary committees.
The parties confirmed their commitment to comply with the agreed legislative and management program to ensure stability and consistency in the interest of the citizens and the state.
Political responsibility for the full mandate of the government was also declared, in fulfilling the commitments for Bulgaria's Euro-Atlantic orientation.
