The Municipal Election Commission in Varna has requested a report from the Municipality of Varna and the Municipal Council regarding the duration of the leave granted to the mayor of the city Blagomir Kotsev, it became clear today, reports "Focus".
The reason was a signal from a citizen, who introduced himself as Damyan Hristov, who insisted on the removal of Kotsev from the post of mayor of Varna.
We recall that Kotsev is on leave until November 11 inclusive. Until then, his deputy in the post is Pavel Popov.
Blagomir Kotsev was arrested on July 8.
