In the morning, reduced visibility and low cloudiness are expected in the lowlands and around water basins.
During the day, the weather will be mostly sunny, with cumulus clouds around and after noon. Mainly in the mountainous areas there will be rain. There will be a weak and moderate west-northwest wind in the plains. Maximum temperatures will rise between 15 and 20 degrees.
In the mountains before noon in the higher parts it will be mostly sunny, and in the lower parts visibility will be reduced. Cumulus clouds develop after noon and in places there will be rain. Above 2000 meters, a moderate north-northwest wind will blow.
The new week will start with mostly sunny weather and maximum temperatures between 18 and 23 degrees. On Tuesday and Wednesday, cloudiness will increase, but there will be light precipitation only in isolated places, mainly in eastern Bulgaria. Daytime temperatures will drop, with maximums on Wednesday between 12 and 17 degrees.
The cold weather will continue in the coming days, with precipitation expected in more places in the country. Snow will also fall in some northern and mountainous regions.
