Relatives and friends of the deceased at the "Petrohan" hut and Okolchitsa peak placed a memorial plaque at the site of the tragedy. The event was organized by Nikolay Zlatkov's mother - Ralitsa Asenova.
Access to the hut itself is still blocked, so the memorial plaque was placed near the turnoff to the pass.
On February 2, three bodies were found in the former "Petrohan" hut. A week later, a camper was discovered on Okolchitsa Peak, in which the leader of the rangers Ivaylo Kalushev and two other people were found.
So far, the prosecutor's office claims that this is a triple suicide at the hut and two murders with suicide at Okolchitsa. The motive for the cruel tragedy is still unclear.
