Every policy in the state budget has a direct effect on the lives of Bulgarian citizens. Assen Vassilev's budgets were different. Aimed at raising the standard of living. From the "policy of stable poverty" to a policy of a fairer life here in Bulgaria. To staying in Bulgaria and being able to afford to have children.
We have taken the first steps - kindergartens are now free. We have increased tax breaks for children from 20 BGN to 600 BGN per child. We have regulated additional paternity leave - 2 months, which you can use until the child turns 8 years old. We voted for a record national program (670 million BGN) for the construction, renovation and expansion of nurseries, kindergartens, schools. We have increased the funds for food in nurseries, kindergartens and schools – so that they grow up healthy.
We will not change our focus in the next National Assembly! Our priority will be the incomes, families and children of Bulgaria. We make a personal commitment to introduce and defend the following policies:
1. Double increase in the tax relief for children – from 300 euros to 600 euros per child;
2. 100% maternity leave upon early return to work – without the dilemma of children or career;
3. Double maternity leave for twins and triplets. Because double joy is also double expense;
4. Investment program for the construction of the missing kindergartens and nurseries in Sofia – to have a nursery and kindergarten for every child (overcoming the shortage - 10,000 unadopted children in Sofia);
5. Quick and safe drop-off and pick-up of children from school, kindergarten and nursery – separate short-stay and parking spaces for parents;
6. Elimination of discrimination in hiring young women, with health contributions during maternity being borne by the state, not the employer;
7. Flexible fatherhood that works for young families – because currently only 22% of fathers take advantage of the 15 days they are entitled to upon the birth of a child;
8. Aid for students in 5th, 6th and 7th grade;
And last but not least:
9. Ban gambling advertising. Get it out of cities and villages. Out of our sight. To protect our families and children from the ruin of gambling.
10. Let's connect slot machines with the National Revenue Agency! Because it is not fair that every business is obliged to have a relationship with the National Revenue Agency, but not the casinos.
Bulgaria, for which we fight:
- Where income is not a barrier to families having children.
- Maternity and child care provide fair upbringing of children.
- There is no dilemma for mothers "career or children".
- Every child has their place in kindergarten and nursery, where they develop their talents.
