Nothing can change, because in the first round Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova came out with just over 40%, and the second is the previous president Stevo Pendarovsky. Even if we collect the Albanian vote, there is still no chance. Apparently this president is leaving. This was stated by Krasimir Karakachanov, leader of VMRO, on bTV.
In his words, the clash in the RSM is a fierce battle for power and for the money that can be stolen from power.
„Bulgaria has not had a clear position in the last three years. With the exception of President Rumen Radev, who insists on continuity in politics, we see that the assembly governments and Petkov's first government committed national treason. There is no reason to look for a minority in Macedonia. We want simple European things to become – to stop the persecution of Bulgarians, to stop the language of hatred and the falsification and theft of Bulgarian history. These are basic general human rules laid down in the UN charter, Karakachanov is emphatic.
„Pendarovski came at the time of Zaev and was one of the people pleading for the improvement of relations with Bulgaria. However, he became the biggest Bulgarian hater. Everything they can't do, they explain it to Bulgaria and blame us. In the RSM, both presidential candidates built their campaign on an anti-Bulgarian basis. This has been a practice in Macedonia since the time of communist Yugoslavia. Bulgarians in Macedonia were persecuted, killed, imprisoned. Now it's the same, only they don't kill them," he commented.
„While we were governing with GERB, I did not hear of anyone sitting on the lap of Delyan Peevski”, he added and highlighted the important issues facing the country in his opinion:
„The first is related to Bulgaria's economy and the Green Deal. The second - illegal migration. And more - the demographic catastrophe, education, health care.”
When asked who will lead the VMRO Eurolist, he announced: “Angel Jambazki will lead, Andrey Slabakov will be second. We will be alone in this election.”
