Another child with symptoms of food poisoning was admitted today to the children's department of the Medical Center "Dr. Ivan Seliminski". Sliven, BNR reported, referring to the head of the department Dr. Lyuba Bachvarova.
A total of 48 children from the "Elitsa" kindergarten were registered with symptoms of food poisoning. Sliven from Thursday to today, but only two have been left for treatment in the hospital.
"Medium damaged condition. They had a clinic. Both babies will be fine, nothing serious. Today I received a child who was not feeling well after vomiting the previous days. But today, for the first time, they are looking for help. And a child who was admitted late yesterday afternoon, from the same group. There were complaints, but here it was accepted as pneumonia," the head of the department, Dr. Luba Bachvarova, told BNR.
48 children from "Elitsa" kindergarten in Sliven were diagnosed with food poisoning yesterday. Two children are already in hospital. The RZI took a sample from the staff and from the surfaces in the kitchen where the food is prepared.
The children ate sandwiches with egg and cheese. The first children with symptoms were in the groups of 5-6 year olds. Mondays and Tuesdays are declared absent at the parents' option. The results of the RZI will be released on Tuesday.
