This morning, the coalition submitted to the parliament a request with 50 signatures for an extraordinary meeting tomorrow (May 15) with two points - a hearing of acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the adoption of a decision by which the members of the Council of Ministers in the Supervisory Board of the National Insurance Institute to be obliged to support the modernization of pensions by 11%.
Earlier today, it was finally decided that pensions will be updated by 11%, which is why Rositsa Kirova believes that the union's proposal is pointless and called on it to withdraw its claim whenever possible. She added that otherwise she is obliged by law to convene an extraordinary meeting within 7 days.
"I appeal for a little more sense and not to abuse so much the opportunity that the people's representatives currently have," said Kirova. According to her, an extraordinary meeting at the moment would be "extremely inconvenient", as an election campaign is underway.
Representatives of "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" said they would not give up their demand.
