Between 2.5 million and 2.7 million people will go to vote in the extraordinary parliamentary elections on June 9, and in the European vote, which is on the same date - between 2.2 million and 2.4 million people, predicts sociologist Yuliy Pavlov, quoted by BTA. He commented that he expects a different arrangement between the second, third and fourth in the national and European elections.

The analyst answered a question about how to deal with low voter turnout. Pavlov explained that this cannot happen as long as the parties speak only to their solid voters, not the fringes. According to him, the real problems for the peripheral voters are the economic problems.

He was adamant that a positive campaign should be pursued. According to him, people expect those they voted for to participate in governance, not for it to fail. There must be stability in the government and the other thing is to find proposals for those voters who are on the periphery, Pavlov added.

He pointed out that it is clear what the configuration will be in the next parliament and, according to him, it will not differ much from the previous one. According to him, the question of whether a two-component administrative configuration will be drawn up depends on the participation of ITN in the next parliament.

Yuliy Pavlov commented that this is the sixth election in three years. He noted that whether a government will be formed after the June 9 elections depends on how rational the behavior of the political parties will be.
