Wheat and sunflower are sold at ungodly low prices. The producer has no choice but to sell, even at a loss, because someone has to pay loans to the banks, to buy preparations so that what they have planted can be recultivated. This was stated by the former Minister of Agriculture Mehmed Dikme in the studio of "Bulgaria ON AIR".
He defined the condition of grain producers, fruit growers, and vegetable growers as difficult. And he pointed out that a large part of the blame lies with the Bulgarian politicians, who in the last 3-4 years did not foresee the problems that will arise from the war in Ukraine.
"Someone was trying through the power of authority to decide things, there must be a discussion on how best to solve these problems... There are problems with PVU, we don't have a program for the development of the sector for the next program period", Dikme pointed out.
He expressed his expectations that after the elections there will be a stable government of the state.
"There is only one stable option - a minority government. If Borisov comes out and forms a government, DPS will support him, there will also be a third party that will support them. Is there an agreement between Borisov, Radev and Delyan Peevski for the next government - I ask it as a question. We will find out the answer after the elections," Dikme said.
He called on politicians to attract voters not with confrontations, but with a vision and ideas for the future.
His expectations are that 5 and not 6 parties will enter the next parliament, then GERB and DPS will form a majority, and he foresees about 40 mandates for the movement.
The former Minister of Agriculture also noted that senior people are running away from politics.
"Possible people do not want to participate in management. Many parties did not find people to fill their lists. We are looking for people for lists who are smart and don't want to enter politics," added Dikme.
In his words, DPS can sign a management agreement after the elections.
