Chemical reaction during production of drugscaused the explosion in an apartment in Haskovo, in which 45-year-old Dmitry Stoyanov - a Russian woman - was seriously injured. This is clear from the official announcement of the District Prosecutor's Office in Haskovo, which came 24 hours after the incident in the 10-story block, quoted by BNT.
During the inspections, physical evidence was seized, indicating activity in the production of narcotic substances, and the investigation is also being conducted for such a crime.
Expertises have been appointed. The investigation into the case continues, the state prosecution explained.
Specialists from the Scientific and Technical Laboratory and from those at the National Institute of Forensic Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made the inspections.
The 45-year-old Stoyanov, who has a criminal record, suffered serious burns in the incident. Just yesterday he was admitted to the UMBAL “St. George” in Plovdiv, from where they reported that he was in serious condition and was operated on urgently.
