A total of 42 fires were extinguished in the country in the last 24 hours, the General Directorate of "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" announced. (GDPBZN). Information is current as of 6:00 this morning. Firefighters responded to 75 reports of accidents. Four citizens were injured in the fires.
There were 14 fires with direct material damage, of which: six in residential buildings, one in auxiliary, temporary or temporary buildings, five in vehicles and two in outdoor facilities.
There were 28 fires without material damage, of which: seven in dry grass, forest litter and bushes, 17 in waste and four others.
33 rescue activities and assistance operations were carried out - two in accidents in vehicles, three in domestic or industrial accidents and 28 in providing technical assistance.
BTA recalls that three women and one man were taken to hospital after the fire in the Western Industrial Zone of Varna yesterday. The incident was reported around 1:00 p.m. on May 25. The fire broke out in a warehouse on Krajezernia road in Varna, due to the strong wind the fire spread to a neighboring shop, from which the firefighters rescued the three women.
