There is already an ambulance for children in Bulgaria. The vehicle was demonstrated on Children's Day in the yard of the "Ivan Mitev" specialized hospital for children's treatment. Its executive director Dr. Blagomir Zdravkov explained to the BNR that to cover the entire territory of our country seven such modern vehicles are needed.
We have trained specialists who can provide emergency aid to children, but at the moment the problem is with the provision of a modern vehicle, explained to the BNR Dr. Blagomir Zdravkov, executive director of the "Ivan Mitev" hospital:< /p>
"This is the highest class ambulance in the country, which can transport critically ill children from premature, newborn to 18 years of age without any problem with enough space for the equipment itself, for the teams and accordingly comfort for the patient. Bulgaria needs 7 such ambulances under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, because this is a highly specialized activity that not everyone and everywhere can do anyway, and the population's need itself does not require more than this digit".
Vladimir Dryanovski from the contractor company presented in detail the equipment of the new children's ambulance:
"This is the main stretcher on which patients are transported. You are currently seeing an incubator installed in the ambulance, which is the most basic equipment in the ambulance. Children are transported with it. This incubator with this stretcher is specially adapted for both ambulance and new helicopters.
The ambulance also has a defibrillator and a specialized oxygen supply system, as well as many other modern equipment.
