„ Rositsa Kirova, that is GERB, refuses to include in the program of the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly our two points, which refer to Bulgaria not sending troops to Ukraine and the provided Bulgarian military technique not to be used for shelling targets on the territory of Russia. We will therefore boycott this meeting until our two points are addressed." This was stated by BSP leader Cornelia Ninova at an extraordinary briefing, quoted by the party's press center.
According to her, these are some of the most important questions that are currently bothering people.
„Who are you, caretaker minister for 2 months, Zapryanov, to single-handedly declare Ukraine to do whatever it decides with the armaments and equipment provided by Bulgaria?! The only body that can decide these issues is the National Assembly, and the official cabinet to organize the elections," she reacted to the defense minister's statement from earlier today.
„It is obvious that the warmongers do not want us to solve this issue, therefore - a boycott by our parliamentary group and non-participation in the extraordinary session”, Ninova was categorical.
According to her, the topics included in the program of the National Assembly are important, but not urgent to call an extraordinary meeting, and they can be decided after the elections.
