Hristo Ivanov: Boyko Borisov is at the next level of being pressed against the wall - 1

Boyko Borisov is at the next level of being pressed against the wall caused explosions, especially with the even greater impudence with which he imposed them. This was stated by the co-chairman of "Democratic Bulgaria" in an interview with "Darik Radio". the political system 9 days before the National Assembly elections and what is the stake for the country after them, reports the press center of "Yes! Bulgaria".
"The formula - he and Delyan (Peevski), as he is the prime minister, and we all know that the real power will be held by Delyan - this is a recipe for a huge explosion. The only way to prevent this explosion is a huge corruption and massive repression, the likes of which we have never seen”, Ivanov declared and added: “This formula - he (Borisov) and Delyan in power - absurd!”
Hristo Ivanov stated that there is no political explanation for Borisov's attempts to impose himself as a tandem with Peevski during the entire election campaign. According to him, the reasons should be sought outside of political logic. “It is visible that Borisov feels obliged all the time to legitimize the fact that he and Delyan are together. If you study all his speeches, this is the main theme of his campaign - me and Delyan. Why does it, I have no political answer? From the point of view of dependence, of Peevski fighting to keep control of the judiciary and Borisov securing the votes, I can understand that. But based on what the voters of GERB and DPS want, because they don't like each other, and purely politically, I don't know what Borisov imagines he's doing," commented Ivanov, who is the leader of the PP-DB list in 24 MIR in Sofia.
In this connection, Ivanov also commented on the CEC's decision to remove the billboards that asked the voters which prime minister they wanted - Nikolay Denkov or the Borisov-Peevski duo. “CEC tells us - showing Peevski and Borisov together violates good manners. Is it? We are saying this - these are really not good manners, so let's not do it to ourselves, dear citizens,”, he said.
Hristo Ivanov confirmed that support for a government with Prime Minister Borisov and the participation of Delyan Peevski will not be given under any conditions. “We in “Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria” we have proven many times, and also in recent months, that we participate in governance only if there is an opportunity to make reforms. That was at the foundation of the memorandum, and that remains our fundamental purpose, cause, issue henceforth. In this light we will solve all equations in the future. Let Boyko and Delyan know that their duo can come to power only in spite of us”, he added.
Hristo Ivanov expressed many concerns about the fact that Bulgarian citizens tend to skip voting in the upcoming elections. According to him, on June 9, it will be decided who will distribute the long power in the state, which provides foundations for political players like Peevski to control Bulgaria's destiny. Therefore, he calls not to rely on the miraculous disappearance of the llama from fairy tales, but to vote, because otherwise is a denial of personal freedom.
"The stake is huge, but it is not visible. People are told: "Stay at home, there's no point, it's disgusting, it sucks, just don't go out!”. This is pouring from all possible mouthpieces. In these elections, it is not important who will become a deputy and who will become a minister. It is important who will become the head of the CPC. It is even more important who will become the head of the Supreme Administrative Court than the chief prosecutor after the changes in the Constitution. It will depend on these elections and whether people will stay at home," he said, stressing that if activity rises to the German level, for example, then the influence of GERB and DPS will be limited as much as possible. “We must understand - that when one goes to vote and two stay at home, they make his vote as for three. This is the mechanism by which GERB and DPS survive”, he adds.
"These elections are the most decisive for Delyan Peevski. Otherwise, they are decisive for every Bulgarian citizen who wants to feel free and a worthy European in European Bulgaria. This is what the moments look like when, with spring carelessness, we throw our freedom and the opportunity for development under the train," he said.
Hristo Ivanov also commented on the position of PP-DB in the current election campaign and the hesitation of the voters who supported the coalition in the previous elections. “Our voters are unhappy both that there was a government and that it fell. They do not get enough guarantees that there will be no more such a government and at the same time that there will be a government that will better cope with the same and larger volume of tasks and national goals. No one disputes these tasks and goals. The middle class understands that there is no one else to fulfill them, so it does not flow elsewhere. But he hesitates whether he can trust us to do it more decisively, more learnedly, with more conclusions, etc. We have drawn our conclusions and learned our lessons. However, it will not get easier,”, he said.
