Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov will sign two contracts that will start of the implementation of the so-called Vertical Gas Corridor, NOVA reported.
With the signing of the documents, the design and construction of part of the necessary gas transmission infrastructure from Kulata to Kresna and from Rupcha to Vetrino begins. It will ensure an increase in the natural gas transmission capacity from Greece to Bulgaria and from Bulgaria to Romania.
The agreements will be signed between the gas transmission operator “Bulgartransgaz“ and the designated contractors – consortia between Bulgarian and American companies.
