Members of sections in Sofia did not put stamps on the ballots from a machine, reports BNT.
"Having voted by machine for both elections I was invited to drop my ballots into the respective two ballot boxes. At the launch of the very first one, I asked: What about stamps? To this I was told that it is possible, said Stefan Varbanov.
"There was an interval of an hour, an hour and a half, where 20,30 people voted, during which we did not count, but as I said, the cut from the machine cannot be invalid,'' explained Ivaylo Venchev, chairman of the 55-section.
Due to a problem with the machine, long queues formed in this section in Studentski Grad.
"The machine, instead of releasing whole receipts, releases a part of the receipt and so they don't lose the opportunity to vote, for some voters one comes out, the other doesn't come out, which didn't come out, they vote with paper and that's why people piled up." ;, said Iliya Ganchev, chairman of SIK 53, Studentski Grad.
-One of the voters - Atanas - shared that they waited 30 minutes outside in front of the section because they were told that the machine was not working. Only when a journalistic team appeared on the scene, the machine magically turned out to be ready for work.
The queue at the 63rd school in Druzhba in the morning reached outside the building.
"I came in the morning, but I estimated that it would be more than an hour and I left. I came again now and passed in 40 min".
While some are waiting to vote, others want to, but have no idea what we are choosing today.
"Let me tell you, I don't know either, but whoever won, may the person live and be healthy!", said Rumen.
