PP-DB will not participated in the negotiations to form a government with the mandate of GERB-SDS. This is clear from an official letter with which the PP-DB responded to the GERB-SDS invitation for talks this afternoon, quoted by BNT.
Here is the text of the letter:
"Dear management of GERB,
Thank you for the invitation from today for today.
PP-DB PG will not participate in the negotiations to form a government, complying with the will of the voters and will be a strong pro-European opposition that will fight any attempt at corruption and deviation from Bulgaria's European path .
In the 50th National Assembly, PP-DB will behave constructively and support the national priorities and strategic goals of Bulgaria, which are laid down in our program.
We believe that your approach cannot lead to a government that works in the interest of the country," reads the PP-DB response.
