A day before the first bell of the new 50th National Assembly rings, the political shuttles to form a regular government continue, NOVA reported.
The meetings initiated by the first political force of the elections – the GERB-SDS coalition – they started already on Monday. Then, out of a total of three planned meetings, one took place – with DPS. After her, it became clear that it was not names and positions that were discussed, but policies and reforms.
Refusal to sit at the same table with the three ladies from the GERB-SDS negotiating team came from their former partners PP-DB, who declared that they would be a pro-European opposition. From “Revival” also refused to participate in the negotiations for an expert cabinet on the grounds that they are ready to talk about a government only if they themselves are the mandate holders.
A new round of negotiations is expected today. From “BSP for Bulgaria” have already shown a red card to GERB after the categorical decision of the National Council of the party. It remains questionable what steps they will take from “There is such a people”, as well as from “Greatness” – who have already stated that they expect a dialogue between leaders and not a meeting of negotiating teams.
