The BG-ALERT emergency and disaster early warning system has only notified some mobile devices, not even sending a signal to some phones with newer operating systems.
The tremor startled the residents of Plovdiv and the district. It was felt from Sadovo to Haskovo, including the observatory in Rozhen.
People describe the earthquake as short-lived, but preceded by a loud rumbling.
In October, there was an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale in the same place, BNT recalls. Now there is no destruction, no injuries.
