Balabanov: It was important for the parliament to function, we do not issue ultimatums - 1

The political crisis in Bulgaria is severe. If we had not given the opportunity to start the National Assembly, you probably would have asked me "how long will you lead a policy of stubbornness". It was fundamental to make the NC work. The ultimatums put them outside the ITN, all other political formations.

This was stated by the MP from "There is such a people" Stanislav Balabanov in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".

According to him, the sociologists who before the elections defined ITN as the "fig leaf" of GERB and DPS, have turned out to be "amateurs".

"ITN will not support the first mandate of GERB, it will not support any form of GERB cabinet - coalition, (non)coalitions, assembly." If it fails, the second term will go to DPS. ITN will do exactly the same. We will all be in the hall for the vote, there will be no loopholes with the quorum. We will vote "against", Balabanov is categorical.

His analysis of the state of the parties that can get the third mandate to form a government shows that it is most logical that he went to ITN.

"ITN must try to find an alternative. We do not want to set red lines in advance, to undermine processes that do not depend on us. If we go to an expert cabinet with the third term of the ITN, we can set policies with deadlines. If some get on a faster track, others take longer, it doesn't happen with the snap of a finger," the MP told Bulgaria ON AIR.

Balabanov's expectations are that Bulgaria will not enter the Eurozone in 2025

"The delay will be based on inflation, and who is to blame for inflation - the bad Finance Minister Asen Vassilev," said Balabanov.
