"Revival": Let's not enter the Eurozone by dawn - 1

In the ECB report, we see that a much more comprehensive analysis has been made than whether we meet the criteria or not. There is a feeling in our country that we are waiting to catch the numbers and jump into the Eurozone, and the ECB is looking at the economy several years back. This was stated by Deyan Nikolov from “Vazrazhdane” on the sidelines of the parliament. The reason for his words is the release of the convergence report of the European Central Bank on the readiness for Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone, reported novini.bg.

„We have a thorough analysis of the situation of our economy. It talks about lack of sufficient productivity, measures by the government regarding foreign investors. The main criticism and conclusion is that Bulgaria is not ready for membership in the Eurozone, he stressed.

„This confirms our argument – the Bulgarian economy is not only not ready, because it does not meet the criteria for the Eurozone, and we are fundamentally not. These convergent reports are 2 years old, that is, the next one will be in 2026, given what is written in it, the desired results cannot be proven within two years. Even the biggest optimists cannot hope for anything in the next 10 years, he added.

From “Revival” suggest that Bulgaria wait with its aspiration to enter with “dawn” in the Eurozone: “We are glad that the ECB confirms our concerns. We are in contact with the ECB and have informed our partners in the West of every detail and attempt to manipulate the process of Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone. The Bulgarian governments are purposefully trying to get us into the Eurozone, and the question is who will take responsibility for all the funds spent.”
