Vigenin: Part of the BSP's problems came from the confrontation with Radev - 1

" Obviously, the BSP is missing something. These systemic conflicts that were being planted within, perhaps this reaction is a symptom of what was happening during those years in the party. The moment someone gets things done the way he envisions them, suddenly there are some pawns that get in the way of the queen. This is not serious.

This is what he said in the show "Face to Face" Christian Vigenin from BSP on the words of Cornelia Ninova in last week's broadcast: “Heavy loss in the elections, catastrophic results, I took responsibility and resigned. Someone called what happened a palace coup. A palace coup with pawns and pawns, because behind what is currently happening in the BSP are completely different forces”.
"There was a possibility of putting the party at risk, and in choosing which was more important, we judged that it was more important. Moreover, we did what Cornelia Ninova told us – we elected, as per the statute, an acting chairman of the party. Yes, the one that Ninova herself wanted was not chosen, but there is a leadership of the group and this is normal in a democratic group. Nothing dramatic has happened," commented Vigenin.
According to him,if urgent measures are not taken, very soon the left will shrink to the point where it will become completely irrelevant.

"At the moment, only the BSP is the left party in the Bulgarian parliament and it is with 7%. It doesn't suit her to be with these results and we can't afford from this position to continue waging wars internally", pointed out Christian Vigenin.
According to him, part of the BSP's problems came from the confrontation with President Rumen Radev, which for some people in the party is inexplicable.

"It is one thing to have a principled position and defend it, but when you cross the line, it already looks like a purposefully sought conflict. I don't think we need that," Christian Vigenin believes.
