Traffic at the exit of some of the border checkpoints (BCP) with Romania and with Greece is intense, it was reported by Main Directorate "Border Police" - Ministry of the Interior, on its website. The information is as of 6:00 this morning.
On the border with Romania, the traffic is intense at the exit for trucks at the "Kardam" checkpoint. On the border with Greece, traffic is intense at the "Tower" border crossings. and "Scissors" at the exit for cars. Through the border points "Makaza", "Zlatograd" and “Ivaylovgrad“ only cars and vans can pass.
Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints on the border with Serbia. On "Kalotina" construction and installation activities are carried out in connection with a contract for reconstruction and modernization. They require a temporary narrowing of the road lanes and reorganization of the movement of passing vehicles. During the holidays, those traveling by car should bear in mind that the temporary organization of traffic before and in the area of the border point may extend the crossing time.
Traffic is normal at all border points with the Republic of North Macedonia and with Turkey.
