DPS stands firmly behind the nomination of Rosen Zhelyazkov and the structure and personnel of the Council of Ministers. The cabinet project can be said to belong more with the political appointments of the DPS, with the continuity that is being demonstrated to the seven members of the service cabinet to move into the regular one. This is what the chairman of Republicans for Bulgaria Tsvetan Tsvetanov said in “Democracy with Mario Gavrilov” on TV1, the press center of the party reported.
Tsvetanov is adamant that Temenuzka Petkova cannot be Minister of Economy and Innovation. “She is the person who pushed through, implemented and signed the Roadmap for “Turkish Stream”. Kalin Stoyanov cannot be the Minister of Internal Affairs. So far, I have not seen anything significant happen in the fight against organized crime. "The only thing we've seen is that those wanted by Interpol, with a European arrest warrant, go and stand in front of the prison themselves and look for a way to serve their sentence."
According to Tsvetanov, Kalin Stoyanov's claims that Brendo entered two years ago with an aircraft are absurd. “Evelin Banev – Brendo can enter any country with any number of false identities. If we had a real, real fight against organized crime and these persons could actually be searched for, I think the result would be different and then maybe we would congratulate the actions of the Ministry of Interior”.
Tsvetanov also commented on the many falsifications during the held local elections and the cashed elections related to the municipal councils. He stated that the elections in Pazardzhik and Sofia are expected to be cashed. “The Ministry of Internal Affairs actually supported certain political parties in some form so that they could get what they have today”. He recalled that Peevski and Borisov personally defended Kalin Stoyanov after the football hooliganism in front of the BFS.
Tsvetan Tsvetanov is of the opinion that Tomislav Donchev cannot be held responsible for something he failed in, bearing in mind the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, which GERB did not submit in April 2021. and from there started the problems with the funds that our country did not receive.

“We do not have national strategies for sectoral policies”, stated Tsvetanov and asked why Temenuzka Petkova did not introduce a new national strategy for energy, as a former minister of energy. “We want to absorb money under the PVU, we want to do decarbonization with everything that is related to the economy, but we have absolutely no horizon and no policies. This is the huge problem facing the state”, Tsvetanov also said.
