According to Dilov, the formula "minority government" is an intelligent solution to get out of the parliamentary crisis:
"This is an intelligent decision, and the Bulgarian political elite has proven that it cannot handle intelligent decisions. ... We should get some kind of government, if it doesn't - we will go to elections until we get a combination that can govern. This is the will of the Bulgarians, who are as divided as their political elite".
According to the MP, GERB has every reason to form a minority government:
"He is also the most honorable. Everything else is behind-the-scenes agreements, some vague formulas, while here everything is clear - an opportunity is offered, when this opportunity is rejected, other opportunities are sought. ... The so-called assembly was also an intelligent solution, but it didn't last, we haven't grown up, clearly.
When asked whether he will not be a GERB-SDS candidate for the Minister of Culture or Tourism, Lyuben Dilov replied that "we cannot find a better person than Nayden Todorov" and "what about Evtim Miloshev - wonderful minister" , specifying that both of them were not nominated as official ministers by GERB.
