A problem in the electronic system of the Guarantee Fund blocked the work of insurance companies in the country. The problem has blocked the issuance of the mandatory "Civil Liability" policies for drivers. The system has been down since Saturday.

and according to insurers, they have been out of touch with the platform for days.
"The system has been down since Saturday. We have been informed that a preventive measure is planned in order to improve the services offered to the Guarantee Fund between 8:00 a.m. on June 29th and 8:00 a.m. on June 30th. However, the system did not work yesterday either.
Today, July 2nd, we have no connection to the platform again, ie. since Monday we have no information about what is happening, only problems - we cannot issue policies, we cannot issue bills, we cannot make annexes. Everything related to the Guarantee Fund, or in other words, "Civil Liability", is blocked, Petko Atanasov, an expert in "Automotive Insurance", told BTA.
According to insurers, the system has crashed several times over the years.
The problem has led to great tension among car owners, who are prevented from driving them due to the impossibility of being issued with "Civil Liability" policies.
