Everyone respects, honors and loves our Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan. Delyan Peevski is the chairman of the PG, the chairman of the party. He leads, gives his best with his inexhaustible energy. This was stated by Halil Letifov from DPS in the program "Face to Face" on bTV.
In his words, it is not an option to have opposition within the DPS.
Everyone wants unification. Concrete steps were taken for this. Nothing is bigger than DPS, nothing is bigger than the cause. There is no opposition between Dogan and Peevski. Our honorary chairman is not a topic, he is respected and loved by everyone, said Letifov categorically.
The entire PG of the DPS stands behind Dogan. You won't find any delicacies along this axis. We must find a solution with which DPS will emerge stronger from this situation. I believe that we will emerge stronger from this situation, added Letifov.
He also commented on the vote of the draft cabinet "Zhelyazkov", during which MPs from the DPS voted against. "There is no opposition there. A vote has been taken. The result is clear. But this created tension that goes beyond the limits of the DPS", he also said.
Letifov refused to comment on who threatened regional chairmen of DPS.
Regarding the handing over of the second mandate to form a government, he commented: "The regional chairmen insisted on looking for an opportunity to form a government. We need to hear the positions of the other parties. Having heard the debate in the first term, we can guess what will follow. In the plenary hall, there was no constructiveness and no idea of the parties to take a step back. We heard spells, opposition. After all, this is how the people arranged us. We will work constructively and constructively to form a regular government.
