„ Bulgaria cannot pay such a high price again. Here we are talking about very serious and vital decisions - for the country's economy, for Schengen, for the Eurozone, etc. In terms of foreign policy, we look alarming, we are absent from the political chair. Everyone is unanimous that there should be a government, but they don't find a way to unite“, commented in “Face to face“ on bTV former Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Plugchieva.
According to her, France is an example in this respect.
„She gave a lesson in democracy in just one week. The result showed that although it was not the perfect solution, the left united with the extreme left and won, said Plugchieva.
She calls on political leaders to find a solution.
„The state cannot pay such a high price again. Here we are dealing with very serious and vital decisions - for the country's economy, for Schengen, for the Eurozone, etc. I recently returned from Berlin - they bombarded me with questions, they cannot explain what is happening in Bulgaria. I told them the truth, albeit very abbreviated, but I also shared with them my hope that Bulgaria will once again be that strong partner in the EU, said Plugchieva.
