Firefighting continues in our country. The biggest concern is the one on the Bulgarian-Greek border, where over 100 people from the fire department, Forestry, military, hunting groups and volunteers are on the ground.
On Sunday, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov announced that two planes from Spain were also involved in fighting the fire, reports Nova.
"The readiness of Spain to rejoin the fight against fire in our country is under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The "Canadair" at discretion, they will be directed to the hot spots and will be involved in extinguishing at the first opportunity”, wrote the responsible minister on Facebook.
In the area of the village of Mikrevo, near Strumyani, the fire is also active, but it is localized. There are three outbreaks near the village of Senokos, and work is underway to control them.
The fire was localized above the village of Chuipetlovo, on the southern slopes of Vitosha. There is also a fire around Mount Sharalia in Rila. National park officials are on the ground and are fighting to put it down.
