It is more important to realize what the reality is - in this way, in whichever way we go, we will most likely reach the same end. With the same inconveniences and difficulties as in the past 4 years, it is time to understand in Bulgaria what political leadership means. We fell into the trap of extremely populist sentiments.

This is how psychologist Rosen Yordanov commented to Euronews Bulgaria whether there is a way out of the political crisis and the upcoming seventh consecutive early elections for the National Assembly.

"However, the mood is already different after the covid pandemic. Now the politicians need to set the tone, show a way out of the situation, motivate them, give them hope," Yordanov believes.

"It is time to put the election campaign on a completely different plane, namely to motivate the citizens. Good upbringing is the basis of the exit from the current crisis, which has been going on for several years," he added.

"The greatest danger to democracy is indifference. Therefore, the sensible will approach the election campaign in a different way. The Bulgarian voter is increasingly embarrassed by what he sees," concluded the psychologist.
