A dangerously high temperature code yellow remains in effect and today across most of the country, and in many areas, another day's warning is a Level 2 Code Orange for maximum temperatures of 38° up to 40° in the shade, BNT reported.
In the rest of the country, values between 35° and 38°, on the sea coast between 28° and 32°. Sunny weather will prevail, but there will also be afternoon showers, mainly in the mountainous parts of the western half. A weak, moderate east-southeast wind will blow in the eastern regions and along the Black Sea.
With continued hot and windy weather, areas at extreme fire risk are increasing, where outbreaks are very difficult to control.
It will also be windy and unusually warm in the mountains, where there will also be afternoon precipitation with a greater probability in the massifs of Western Bulgaria.
And in the coming days there will be isolated afternoon showers, mainly in the mountainous regions of Western Bulgaria, but it will remain very hot.
