According to him, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov was within his right to demand the resignation of the head of the specialized police forces in Plovdiv.
"In a system like the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where there is a single leadership, there is always someone who has administrative responsibility. In this situation, what Minister Stoyanov has undertaken is absolutely justified by law, Savov explained.
In his words, there is a need for serious and permanent training of employees in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, both for actions in dangerous situations involving the use of weapons and aids, as well as for shooting and attitude to weapons. "Handling a weapon is a chain of processes, of which shooting is only one part.
