Ivan Petkov: BSP is the only left-wing representative in the National Assembly, but we cannot get support for a cabinet - 1

We see, that in recent days various non-governmental organizations have been sending letters to the president to veto the decision we took in the plenary hall to supplement and amend the Law on preschool and school education. Our children are the most important.

This is what Ivan Petkov from BSP said in the show "The Day ON AIR".

When asked what happened to the 50th National Assembly, Petkov replied that it was mainly scandals, and it was difficult for voters to motivate themselves to vote.

"It was seen once again that the BSP is the only left-wing representative in the National Assembly, but we cannot get enough support to form a cabinet," the politician told Bulgaria ON AIR.

He explained that Cornelia Ninova has resigned and cannot be a representative in the 51st National Assembly.

"When a party loses, the leader must step down. She sent her resignation to all BSP members. Only division is aimed at, not unification. We cannot choose a new leader because we have to go to direct elections. The situation in the country does not allow us to go on normal reporting-election campaigns. If there were no early elections on October 20, we would all be watching the direct election of the BSP", Petkov specified.

In his words, the public should be motivated to go out and vote, and not reach another low record.

On the occasion of the raids on the properties of businessman Rumen Gaitanski - Valka and the 150 million BGN loan granted by BBR, Petkov commented that many small companies tried to take loans from this bank, which was originally created for them, but it turns out that she "served oligarchic circles".
