Parliament will listen to the Acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov about the construction of repositories for the permanent storage of spent fuel nuclear fuel from the "Kozloduy" NPP; and hazardous radioactive waste on the territory of Bulgaria, BTA reported.
This is the first point of the adopted work program of the National Assembly for Friday.
Also on the agenda is the first vote on changes to the Civil Registration Act brought by the “Revival” group. With them, it is proposed that a special committee conduct an on-site inspection of the real occupancy of the property and the number of its residents, and in case of violation of the legal requirements, the registration will be refused. It is possible to appeal not only the registration refusals, but also the registration permission. It is also planned to increase the sanctions for the officials who committed violations during the registration of persons with a permanent or current address.
Deputies will discuss changes to the Law on Higher Education at the first vote, introduced by the former MP from Velichie, currently not a member of a parliamentary group, Yuliana Mateeva.
On the agenda is also a draft decision to amend the Decision to assign the Minister of Energy to conduct negotiations with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine for the sale of equipment intended for the "Belene" NPP project. It is also planned to discuss a draft decision on assigning the Minister of Energy to remove the steam generators from the equipment of “Belene”, which is subject to negotiations for sale to Ukraine, pending the preparation of an analysis of the application of these steam generators for the needs of the NPP “ Kozloduy“.
Regular Friday parliamentary control is also foreseen. The service ministers Atanas Zapryanov, Nayden Todorov, Vladimir Malinov, Evtim Miloshev and Petko Nikolov will take part in it.
