Mountain rescuers from Borovets rescued a 72-year-old tourist. The victim was in the area above the "Malyovitsa" hut, along the "Rabbit Trail" above “The doll“.
According to initial information, he had a broken arm and many bruises. A rescue operation was immediately organized.
When the scene of the accident was reached, it was found that the man had fallen from a rather steep slope and due to the long rolling down the slope, in addition to abrasions, there were also serious internal injuries that were life-threatening. A decision was made to call a helicopter, which arrived in less than 20 minutes.
The victim was intubated on the spot and taken for further treatment to the "St. Anna" UMBAL.
