The new changes in driving courses have led to disputes and dissatisfaction among the institutions.

From the Ministry of Transport they also want full digitization of the training process.
„At the moment, a candidate-driver can appear endlessly, as long as he has passed his training on paper”, explained Deputy Minister of Transport Dimitar Nedyalkov, quoted by BTV.
„The possibility of failing an exam to appear within six months up to four times. The second thing we are introducing is the digitization of the student's study card, the replacement and removal of paper, moving to an electronic environment and the elimination of the internal exam in schools, Nedyalkov also said.
These changes raised doubts among some driving instructors.
„There is nothing in the amendment of the study documentation, nor in these regulations, that will improve the quality of education. After we wait for a month to get an exam date, who and how, without any facts, decided that it will be four times in six months. And not to be five times in eight months”, asked Yonko Ivanov from the Union of teachers of auto-motor training.
Driver candidates who fail their test four times will have to retake a driving course. Thus, young drivers should foresee a bigger budget.
One of the changes that comes into effect on December 10 is the cancellation of the internal exam along with an instructor.
